Fixed or vented

A fixed skylight for pure daylight, or a vented unit that opens to release rising heat and bring air through the roof. Both in rust-proof aluminum framing built to your rough opening.

Insulated, low-E, and solar-control glazing options set to the room the skylight sits over, so the roof glass brings light without cooking the space beneath it in summer.

Framing color and glazing are specified with the windows on the same project so the roof glass reads as part of the same fenestration line rather than a separate roofing product.

Certification and install.

Skylights and roof glazing are glazed products and follow the same certification posture as our windows and doors, with NFRC, NAFS, and structural ratings published only where test reports and a cert ID are on file. Renovation and replacement framing is used where a rating is not documented.

Install runs through your local licensed trades on your schedule. Crateworks delivers product, coordinates the freight, and supports the substitution path if anything lands damaged.

Both are sourced. A fixed skylight is pure daylight and the simplest detail; a vented skylight opens to let rising heat out and pull air through, which suits kitchens, bathrooms, and stairwells. The roof pitch and use decide which fits.
Skylights are sourced on request against your roof opening rather than stocked. Send the rough opening size, roof pitch, and whether you want it fixed or vented, and we scope a supplier match before quoting.
Glazing is specified to the room below: low-E and solar-control coatings cut the summer heat gain while keeping the daylight. The right glazing spec is set to orientation and use before quoting.
Roof glazing follows the same certification posture as our windows and doors: ratings are published only where test reports and a cert ID are on file. Where the roof assembly requires a rated unit, the spec is confirmed to the local code before quoting.
