Why we exist.
Premium building products pass through a long chain before they reach a job site: the supplier, an importer, a distributor, a showroom, a designer markup. Each link adds margin, and by the time the product hits an opening the price has little to do with what it cost to make.
Crateworks is the answer: we build the whole package to your drawings, qualify every source in the network, and coordinate the logistics ourselves. Builders, designers, and homeowners running real projects get the same premium spec on one coordinated quote. We build the whole package direct, with no distributor layer between you and production.
How we work.
Source qualification
Every supplier goes through a qualification cycle before product lists on the site. We verify build quality, cert pathways where they apply, and project track record. The supplier behind the product is the thing being qualified.
Built to your project
Made-to-order categories are built to your dimensions, finishes, and spec rather than pulled off a stock shelf, at no upcharge. Sourced categories ship to spec on the timeline your project needs. Lead times confirmed in writing before the project commits.
Honest cert framing
We frame products honestly for the projects they suit and confirm any certification in writing before a job that requires it. Where a product is renovation-only, the page says so; where a product carries verified certification, the ID is disclosed inline.
Founder.
Charles Lau
Founder
Charles Lau founded Crateworks Supply Co to custom-build whole project schedules for builders and designers, returned as one coordinated quote. Background in operating consumer and B2B product ventures. Crateworks builds and coordinates cabinetry, closets, doors, furniture, and metal and glass, and sources the rest of the schedule, on years of running supply relationships across residential and commercial product lines.
For project inquiries, source the broader catalog through the site or send a brief through the quote form. Trade and design partners route through the Trade Program for coordinated multi-category supply.
Coverage.
Twelve product categories at different stages of depth. Windows and doors are the technical anchor with the most product depth. Cabinets, lighting, sanitary, flooring, tile, soft furnishing, wall panel, and metal-and-glass have hubs and sub-pages with buying guides; new product depth ships as supplier qualification completes.
Send a project brief.
Drop the project scope, the categories under consideration, and the timeline. We return a coordinated supply quote with cert documentation where it applies and lead times that align with your construction calendar.
