Off-the-shelf curtain sizes fit nothing well. Crateworks supplies made-to-measure curtains and drapery. Linen, velvet, silk, cotton, blackout linings, sized to each window opening, hung from your chosen hardware family, delivered with the soft-furnishing package.

Fabric, lining, header

Fabric: heavy linen for relaxed contemporary, velvet for heritage and theatrical, silk for formal traditional, cotton for clean modern. Lining: blackout for bedrooms and theaters, thermal for thermal-loss rooms, interlining for body and drape.

Header style: pinch-pleat (traditional), goblet-pleat (formal), eyelet (modern), wave-fold (contemporary), pencil-pleat (transitional). Header determines how the curtain stacks back and how the top edge reads.

Hardware family and install

Hardware (rods, finials, brackets, rings) is specified once across the project so every window reads consistent. Brass, bronze, matte black, or nickel finishes available. Wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted tracks for floor-to-ceiling drapery.

Install runs through your drapery installer or general contractor. Crateworks delivers the curtains hemmed to length with rings or hooks attached.

Every curtain is made to the window. Provide the rod-to-floor measurement, the rod width, and the desired stack-back. Curtains ship hemmed exactly to length, no on-site alteration needed.
Yes. Blackout, thermal, and interlining are all specified per panel. Mix-and-match by room: blackout in bedrooms, sheer in living areas, on the same hardware family.
Motorized tracks for blackout drapery, sheer overlay, or large openings are available. Drive system, controller, and remote/app integration specified per project. Smart-home (Lutron, Crestron) integration on request.
Custom curtains run roughly 8 to 10 weeks from approved fabric and confirmed measurements. Sample-to-approval cycle adds 2-3 weeks. Hardware ships faster.
