Sizing and pack
The roll we quote is 9 ft by 100 ft, and a skid carries 56 rolls. A crew that wraps a house a week goes through a skid in a season, which is why the quote is by the skid and the order lands on a pallet, not in a courier box.
Tape for the seams and the cap staples or cap nails that hold the wrap rank with it on most lists, so send them on the same list. Staples are on the basket already; tape is quoted alongside the wrap when you name it.
What travels with the quote
The data sheet travels with the quote. It carries the roll's own figures for water resistance, air resistance, vapour permeance and the exposure window, so the numbers you check against a spec come from the document, not from a sales page. We do not put those figures on this page because they belong to the roll you are quoted, not to a category.
If your builder specs a particular performance, send the spec line with your list and the quote either meets it or says it does not.
What to send with a wrap order
A crew lead can put this together from the last two invoices and a tape measure. Six lines and the quote comes back without a round of questions.
- Rolls a month, or houses a month and the wall area of a typical one.
- Overlap you run on horizontal laps and at corners, so the roll count matches your practice and not a calculator's.
- How the wrap is held: cap staples, cap nails or plain staples, and the tool you run.
- Seam and flashing tape you use, and whether it goes on the same order.
- How long the wall sits exposed before cladding goes on, in weeks. The roll's data sheet states its exposure window and the quote matches a roll to your schedule.
- Who inspects the wrap before cladding, you or the builder, and whether they ask for the data sheet on site.
Delivery
The first order is a pallet of the lines you use most, placed with a deposit. The delivery date is agreed in writing at the same time, to your yard or to the job. Goods are released on payment of the balance, and after that you order to your own cadence.
If a line on your list is not one we quote, we say so on the quote rather than substituting. You keep the account you have for that line.
