Sconces sit in the rooms a chandelier cannot reach: flanking a vanity mirror, climbing a stairwell, spaced down a hallway, either side of a bed. They are also the fixture that makes a finish family read as deliberate, because they appear in more rooms than anything else in the schedule.
Mounting height is a project dimension
Vanity sconces are set against the mirror and the eye line, not against a standard. Stairwell sconces are spaced to the rise. Hallway sconces are spaced to the run. All three are drawn from your elevations rather than picked from a size chart.

Listing is a requirement placed on the supplier and verified per fixture before an order, not documentation we hold. Canada does not accept a US-only UL mark; it requires the combined cULus or cETLus mark or CSA certification. Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a locally licensed electrician.
