- Published US prices for a cold plunge run from $119.99 for a bare tub to $52,000. The lowest-priced tub sold with its own chiller among the brand-store prices we read was $1,799.99.
- The chiller drives the price. Sold on its own, a chiller costs $1,099.99 to $3,999.99, often more than the tub.
- Most systems with a chiller, filtration and a lid cost $3,500 to $10,000. Stainless, heated and longer-warranty systems run $10,000 to $29,000, and Morozko Forge goes to $52,000.
- Most brands give a one-year warranty. Blue Cube gives three years residential, and Renu's Cold Stoic 3.0 five years limited.
Tub only: $119.99 to $1,750.
A tub with no chiller is the cheapest way in. You fill it and add ice before each session. The Cold Pod's standard tub is $119.99. Coldture's Barrel Lite is $499, and its Classic tub was $899 on sale, down from $999. Ice Barrel's 300 is $1,149.99 and its 500 is $1,749.99. In Canada, Eternal Ice Bath in Quebec sells an insulated tub with ozone and filtration but no chiller for CAD 1,699.
The trade-off is the ice. Without a chiller, keeping the water cold is a job you do before every session.
The chiller is what you are paying for.
Sold separately, a chiller costs $1,099.99 for Penguin's half-horsepower indoor unit and $1,499.99 for its outdoor version, $3,499 for Coldture's Pro, $3,699 for LIT Method's 1 HP chiller and heater, $3,799 for Cold Life's Pro Curve, $3,990 for Plunge's Pro Chiller and $3,999.99 for Ice Barrel's.
That is why the same tub can cost three or four times as much once a chiller is added.
Inflatable tubs with a chiller: $1,800 to $4,500.
Inflatable tubs bundled with a chiller are the lowest-cost way to skip the ice. Polar Revive's inflatable tub with a chiller is $1,799.99. Revive's inflatable pod runs $2,499 to $3,999 depending on the chiller size. Penguin's Journey is $2,999. Sun Home's two-person inflatable, with a 1 HP chiller that also heats, ozone and filtration, is $3,999, listed at $4,099. Nordic Wave's Voyager is $3,240 with its PRO chiller, listed at $3,990.
Rigid tubs with a chiller: $3,500 to $10,000.
Coldture's tub-and-chiller bundle was $3,499, down from $3,999. Ice Barrel's 300 with its chiller is $5,149.98. Polar Monkeys' ONE is $6,290 with a 0.8 HP chiller, two-stage filtration and an insulated cover.
Plunge's original Plunge lists at $8,490 and was on sale at $6,790, with an ozone chiller, filter and insulated cover. The Plunge All-In lists at $9,990 and was on sale at $7,990. Nordic Wave's Viking Premier lists at $6,990 and was on sale at $5,990, with ozone and two-inch foam-insulated walls. LIT Method's Stealth Luxe with a chiller and heater is $7,999, listed at $9,699, with UV-C, ozone and a locking hard cover. Chilly GOAT's Alpine is $9,995 with a 2.1 HP chiller and UV purification.
Stainless, heated and premium: $10,000 to $29,000, and Morozko to $52,000.
Renu's Cold Stoic 3.0 is $11,399 to $12,099 with a chiller, heater, ozone and a five-year limited warranty. Revive's Luxury Plunge is $10,999 with an insulated stainless tub. Hello Goodland in Winnipeg sells a cedar cold tub with a concealed chiller from $12,249. Sun Home's Cold Plunge Pro is $13,999, listed at $14,599.
Blue Cube's DROP is $11,750, its C1 in stainless steel is $16,500 with a three-year residential warranty, and its Limitless and Modular systems start at $29,000.
Morozko Forge sits above everyone: from $12,490 for its Forge, $25,990 for the PRO, $42,000 for the Tall Ice Barrel and $52,000 for the Mineral Bath.
Warranty.
Most brands give one year: Plunge, Cold Life, Coldture, Polar Monkeys, Penguin, Dynamic Cold Therapy, LIT Method and Ice Barrel's chiller. Plunge's inflatable Air tub carries 90 days.
A few go further. Blue Cube gives three years residential, Renu's Cold Stoic 3.0 five years limited, and Nordic Wave five years on the tub with one year on the chiller.
Check how long the chiller is covered, not just the tub. Sold on its own, a chiller costs $1,099.99 to $3,999.99.
Running costs.
Power: Penguin's half-horsepower chiller and Cold Life's Pro Curve are both rated at 450 W. Running nonstop, that is about $60 a month at the US average residential rate of 18.31 cents per kWh in July 2026. Real use is lower because the compressor cycles, but no brand publishes by how much.
Filters and water care: Plunge sells filter packs from $46 and a three-month chlorine kit for $100. Renu's annual maintenance package is $279 for the Vero. Ice Barrel recommends cleaning or replacing filters monthly. Coldture's 20-micron filters start at $22.
Common questions.
- What does a cold plunge tub cost?
- Published US prices run from $119.99 for a bare tub you fill with ice to $52,000. The lowest-priced tub with its own chiller among the brand-store prices we read was $1,799.99, most complete systems cost $3,500 to $10,000, and stainless or heated systems $10,000 to $29,000. Prices read from each brand's store on 16 October 2026.
- Why are cold plunges so expensive?
- The chiller. Sold on its own, a cold plunge chiller costs $1,099.99 to $3,999.99, often more than the tub. Higher tiers add stainless steel, heating, ozone or UV, insulated covers and longer warranties.
- Is a cold plunge tub worth it?
- It depends on how often you will use it and how much work you want to do. A tub-only setup is cheapest but needs ice before every session. A chiller removes that work. Compare warranties too: most brands give one year on the chiller.
- How much does a cold plunge cost to run?
- A 450 W chiller running nonstop would cost about $60 a month at the July 2026 US average electricity rate; real use is lower because the compressor cycles. Filters and water treatment add more, from about $22 a filter to a $279 annual maintenance package depending on the brand.
